Description

Our natural frankincense hydrolate for detergents is extracted from the plant with the botanical name Boswellia carterii. In international practice, the liquid is designated as Frankincense natural hydrolate for detergents. The species is classified in the Burseraceae family, and in this genus the resin canals build a network in the inner bark and remain most active near the cambium. The raw material comes from the resin of trees grown in Bulgaria. Extraction is carried out by steam distillation, which is why the aroma remains free of residual solvents and preserves the purity of the original resin raw material. The aqueous phase mainly takes up the polar oxygenated volatile compounds, and it is precisely these that determine the aromatic character of the finished distillate. The volatile constituents of the resin include pinene, thujene, limonene, myrcene and octyl acetate, which together define the clearly pronounced resinous direction of the scent. The coloring ranges from colorless to pale yellow. The product is a clear liquid, and the faint coloring is associated with the resinous origin of the original plant material. The aroma is strongly pronounced and distinctly perceptible. A light sweet tint is added to the resinous base of the scent. The composition is entirely natural, and no preserving or coloring substances are present in the resulting liquid. In addition, nothing enters the distillate apart from what has been separated from the plant raw material. Since cultivation follows natural rules and excludes synthetic substances, the composition of the liquid is determined solely by the resin raw material and the water. The strength of the scent results from the proportion of volatile substances in the original resin. Along with the pronounced strength of its scent, frankincense hydrolate retains a clear liquid form and a composition limited to the plant resin and water.

Storage

Store natural frankincense hydrolate in a dark, cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Maintain a temperature of +4°C to +10°C to limit the growth of microorganisms. After opening, use the contents within 6 months and limit the amount of air in the container. Use only aluminum or glass bottles for detergent products, preferably dark glass, which protect the hydrolate for detergents from light. Close tightly after each use to prevent air and contaminants from entering. Observing these conditions preserves the freshness and quality of the product for a longer period.
